Our Light Sheer Diode Laser System is indicated for the treatment of unwanted or excess hair. It was developed from research performed at the Wellman Laboratories of Photomedicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and represents the latest technology for hair removal. The system produces near-infra-red energy which is selectively absorbed by melanin (pigment) in the hair shaft as well as the surrounding hair follicle, and causes thermal destruction. Consequently, the hair's regrowth is significantly impeded or eliminated. The system has been well tested, has been found to be very safe, and has been found very successful with little to no discomfort. This Light Sheer System has been approved by the FDA for hair removal. |
